Why I built this
I started the fan page cuz I'm a fan. Plain and simple. Larry June already makes the type music and provides an example of creative entrepreneurship that inspires not just myself but millions of others daily. He shares a philosophy that resonates with us regular folks that clock in every day. And his aesthetic is luxe without feeling so deep into fashion that the regular degular person feels alienated from it.
As a young creative trying to figure out my place in the world and how to present myself, Larry's run kinda showed a slightly different lane — just having a sense of humor and levity around his brand while still being serious about his business and consistent in his output. Not just in terms of being present with new projects but also improving as an artist, experimenting, and constantly finding new ways to collaborate so the music and product are always fresh.
What’s next »
One day I want to build something similar but in collaboration with the artist themselves. Helping them communicate who they are, what they believe in, and their visual identity to fans everywhere in a way that resonates and helps expand their world. And hopefully contributes to their creative business in an exciting, and organic way.
For now though, I'm building The Label League, the Fantasy League for Music Lovers. If that sounds like something you're interested in, feel free to take a look.
